I have my own Avid edit suite at home with 16tbs storage, full backup and the ability to work remotely. I edited 90 minute specials here in 2018 and 2019 for BBC4 and ITV1. In 2020 I edited a 60 minute Emmy nominated Panorama here, so it is a well proven set up that is efficient and economic for production companies. I had my own edit suites in Soho and Fitzrovia for over 30 years until 2017 and even on-lined and delivered budget conscious films for broadcast!

"I know that Aubrey Singer, Controller BBC-2, thanked you personally for your skilful editing during the preview of the film, but I must add my own congratulations for what was in fact your first film for BBC Television."  Producer, BBC 1975

"It would be difficult to over-estimate his contribution to these films. His editorial judgement, imaginative cutting, high standards and involvement in the subject have made him a joy to work with."  Series Producer, BBC 1984

....then a few years and a few more films and generous compliments later ...

"The editing is phenomenal, the sequences are really singing."
C4 Commissioning Editor, 2013

"You were so brilliant on the film. Thank you so much for your patience, tolerance and good humour. And of course for your skill."
BBC Commissioning Editor, 2017

"I also wanted to say how much I appreciate your brilliance. You are a genius, gloriously good at your job AND a complete pleasure."  Executive Producer, 2018
